Digital Devices in School

Digital devices (Chrome books, laptops, tablets) are to be used in class or whanau time with teacher permission only and for educational purposes. Mobile phones are not to be used in the classroom. These need to be switched off and in students' bags.

If the above rules are broken, the item in question is to be confiscated. The confiscation procedure below applies, but the digital device can be collected only by a parent or caregiver. Under no circumstances can it be returned to the student.

Any misuse of digital technology may also result in access being denied to the school network.
