• NSSSA Table Tennis Championship

  Well done to the WGHS Table Tennis Team that attended the recent NSSSA Table Tennis Championship last Thursday and placed second in the Girls Teams Championship.

• Equestrian National 3 Day Eventing Championships

  ​Congratulations to Ocean McKinnon who competed at the National 3 Day Eventing Championships at Taupo. Ocean was placed 2nd on her four year old mare, Graffiti.

• New Zealand Secondary Schools Adventure Racing Championship

  ​On 2nd April the Whangarei Adventure Racing Team competed at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Adventure Racing Championship in Napier and placed 4th and 7th overall.

• Sailing Starling Open Nationals

  23rd May 2014

  Penelope Wilson and Nicola Wilson competed at the Starling Open Nationals between 22nd—27th April. Penelope placed 11th in Silver Fleet and won the Most Improved Skipper Award.

• NZ Age Group Swimming Championship

  Congratulations to Ellie Eastwood and Hayley McIntosh who have attended the NZ Age Group Swimming Championship earlier this month where they both qualified for the 2015 NZ Open Championships.
