Group hire
Lupton House is the girls boarding facility associated with Whangarei Girls High School and many girls from northland families and afar have boarded at Lupton House since 1943, enabling them to take advantage of the excellent academic and sports curriculum offered at the School. Our residents live comfortably and safely at the hostel during school terms, and outside those times, Lupton House is available to groups for accommodation at very reasonable rates.
Our facility is particularly suitable for sports groups for tournaments or training camps, or as a conference venue for interest/academic/political groups.
Situated at 3 Lupton Avenue, Regent on spacious grounds, about ½ a kilometre off State Highway 1, we are only 10 minutes walk to Whangarei's CBD and shopping mall. In the Regent area a stroll away are medical facilities, sports grounds, recreation parks, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.
Lupton House is available for hire:
- Summer break: December/January
- School Term breaks each 2 weeks in: April, July and October
- Short stays during term breaks by arrangement only.
